While it's mostly functioning as intended, we're still fine-tuning the system for comparing cities from different states, as it currently ranks them based on their standings within their respective states rather than against each other.
Evaluating Urban Growth: The Multi-metric Approach of ChatDB
The ranking evaluates growth from 2010 to 2021 across various metrics, such as population, population density, median income, median rent, homeownership percentage, employment percentage, crime reduction (though it is simply denoted as "crime"), and racial diversity.
Competitive City Rankings: Real-World Applications of ChatDB
Scores from each category are summed, and the city with the lowest total takes the lead. For instance, among the 1,046 cities ranked in California, East Palo Alto claims first place, largely due to its third place in crime reduction. Oakley follows in second place, with Gilroy in third, notably taking fourth place in median income.
