We found six prime properties out of 1,867 for multifamily development based on the following search criteria:
-
Vacant Parcels allowing between 100-500 units: 190 sites
-
and lot size larger than 9,600 SF: 6 sites
190 sites are vacant and allow between 100-500 units, and only six of those sites are larger than 9,600 SF.
How to select the best multifamily development site?
We can look at the demographics of the areas. These six sites are found on four different census tracts. Each tract has different employment, household income, median rent, and population metric.
In this case, the pink tract has the highest household income and second-highest rent. While the green site has the higher employment rate and the highest rent.
How do I know if a development site is available?
The first step is to see what is on it, and google street view is a great remote tool already integrated into the Deepblocks software.
If it looks vacant, it is prudent to do a quick feasibility study before seeing if it is available in the market.
More will be revealed,
